Walk the Thames 2010

Sponsored by BPP Law School
Sponsored by BPP Law School

Walk the Thames is a 40 mile sponsored walk over 2 days. So it’s for serious walkers. In February 2009 the first walk raised over £8,000 with 40 walkers.

The 2010 event will take place on February 20th and 21st. In addition to our own walkers we will invite people to enter from all over England and Wales to raise funds for their own regional legal trusts.

Walkers will cover 20 miles each day from the Thames Barrier to Battersea and then from Battersea to Hampton Court. As well as being a great fundraiser for access to justice, it is a great way to see London in a very unusual way. We will produce a short guide for walkers so they can appreciate some of the landmarks they pass.

At the end of each day we will buy walkers a drink and some munchies so that they can wind down in comfort. (Thanks to BPP Law School for sponsoring the cheesy chips and beer)

Everyone who entered last year’s walk really enjoyed it and we hope that you will too.
