Thanks for your help during 2011 - there are really too many people to thank who have all contributed hugely throughout this year but we would like to especially thank a few below:

Raising Funds through Events

Thanks to all walkers who took part in the London Legal Walk, Walk the Thames, the sponsored walks in Guildford, Newbury, Brighton, Eastbourne or Hastings and their sponsors. It was just brilliant to see all of these events having even more people taking part and raising more money for legal advice charities in need.

Thanks to Allen & Overy for all the incredible support they give the trust (including design and printing services) as well as buying the walkers from the London Legal Walk a drink at the end of the event.

Other bits and pieces

Thanks to Allen & Overy and Weil Gotshal & Manges for raising an extra £20,000 through donating the extra interest earned by pooling funds deposited in their client accounts.

Thanks to all those firms and chambers who contributed to the £120,000 we received in direct donations in 2011 from either proactive donations or in response to appeals. Hogan Lovells, Dechert LLP, Maitland Chambers and the City of London Law Society all gave generous unsolicited donations for which we are extremely grateful.

Thanks to 39 Essex Street for once again donating the income from one of their seminars.

Luchia Wheble - currently an LPC student, we want to say thank you for the time, effort and good humour she contributed throughout the year.

Jonathan Charwat and Vijay Ray-Chaudhuri - two longstanding volunteers who both produce the maps for Walk the Thames and have been instrumental in developing it.

Prashant Sagar - currently an undergraduate law student, we are very grateful for the time her has volunteered throughout the year ensuring our website was kept up to date and helping with various other tasks.
