Sponsorship opportunities

The London Legal Walk is a landmark charity event for the legal profession, raising money to support free legal advice provision across the capital and the South East.  We provide a variety of sponsorship opportunities linked to the walk if it would benefit you to market to thousands of legal professionals whilst being associated with a renowned and respected charity and event.

Whether you've an interest in marketing to our walkers as a whole, or to target groups, this event presents an opportunity to reach over 13,000 people on the day itself and /or many thousands more via Social Media, email newsletters and more throughout the 6 month build up. You can also reach more through inclusion in our sponsorship pages, legal press adverts  and promotional materials, including across the London Underground.

The walk has grown exponentially and ambitions have grown alongside it. The London Legal Walk will continue to attract greater numbers and expose your brand to the greatest number possible. 

LLST have a core database of supporters. Most commonly we have key contacts for a firm/chambers who then disseminate the information within the company. We currently have over 4,600 email contacts based in law firms, chambers, private companies and more across London and the South East. 

LLST Website

All events are featured with in-depth information and details are constantly updated. All communications point towards the LLST website and a large number of new enquiries come via the website. 

In the month of the London Legal Walk, the website had 16,000 visits, with the majority of these focusing on Walk pages giving you consistent exposure. 

Virgin Money Giving

Every walker and team has a fundraising webpage on Virgin Money Giving and headline sponsors are featured on these. Every online sponsor of every team will see your logo. 

Social Media

LLST has a strong presence on social media, using Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to build awareness and participation in our events as well as drawing attention to our partners.

 #Legalwalk trends nationally on Twitter every year, on the day of the walk. With Thunderclap, we take great efforts to make sure our tweets reach as many thousands of people as possible and that your sponsorship receives maximum exposure.

Press exposure


The Walk enjoys widespread coverage in the legal press including adverts in the print version of the Law Society Gazette that is sent to every solicitor in the country. 

The walk was also featured on a number of the teams' organisation websites - see more details on our "Walk on the Web" page. The Walk is advertised on the London Underground for four weeks in advance of the event. On the day, the walk was covered by ITV, RT and London Live. You can watch the official London Legal Walk video on YouTube.
